Retrospective Note 2022: I can't remember if I saw "Braveheart" for the first time before I went to this festival or after, but regardless, "Braveheart" was on my heart and my mind that day, and when a vendor approached me asking for face paint, I absolutely said yes. When asked what I wanted, I simply said something inspired by the war paint you see in the film, and she went straight to work. What she came up with, felt unique to my own personality. I wore that paint with pride that day, and didn't wash it off until I got home late that evening, and even then, I cherished it for a few moments more before washing it away.

Retrospective Note 2020: A little patch of land that’s next to the Athletic Center. Still available for sale, but no one has bought it just yet. That’s a good thing. Little spots like this are charming, and it adds to the view at my favorite pond.

Retrospective Note 2020: The first Instagram with my now wife Jessica. I didn’t think about it prior to posting that people would think I proposed, but that’s exactly what happened. It’s just her purity ring in the shot.

Retrospective Note 2020: It had been about a year since I left Stonebriar after a previous break up, but it wouldn’t be long til I started to miss the place, among other things. I took a late night stroll around the area, and while walking, came across this little friend. It just… stood there. I went to see if it was alright, and it certainly seemed to be. It eventually walked away, but it stood there long enough for me to take a picture or two. This is the closest I’ve ever been to a bird. Unforgettable moment right here, that I can relive every time I open up this picture.

Retrospective Note 2020: After discovering Peter Gabriel’s discography in 2014, I became obsessed. Perfect timing too, for they had just released a 25th anniversary edition of his peak performing album, “So”, and so, I got me a copy. Loved it so much in fact, I just had to recreate the iconic cover, but with a touch of my favorite color. I love how this came out. The white looks so pure even though I was standing against the dry wall in my parent’s bedroom. You can hardly see the texture from the wall. This was my profile picture for awhile~ 💙

Retrospective Note 2020: Was stuck in traffic before the light. Had to capture this moment. Pictures like this are special too, since it’s not too often I’m able to capture things on the road. Though, there have been times I just HAD to pull over to immortalize the scene.

Retrospective Note 2020: Taken after a date night presumably. These apartments have been rebranded to “Orion McCord Park Apartments”. Funny how things go full circle, for we now live at “Orion Prosper Lakes”, another property that used to be part of the “Mansions” brands.
